hello to everyone here at hardforum. as you can see, i'm a noob to the site. i plan on doing a full build from scratch, by December 16th.

specs are:
CPU: AMD Phenom IIx4 3.4 Ghz Black Edition
MOBO: ASUS M4A87TD EVO
RAM: OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600
Graphics: XFX HD-577X-ZMF3 (might crossfire if i have the money)

i plan on putting this into an old Thermaltake Xaser III with seven (i believe 80mm) fans running from the original fan controller.

thing is, i'm trying to get the bugdet down as low as possible without giving any part of the performance up, so i need a PSU that will be capable of the system i have, plus some upgrading.

right now i'm eyeing on the XFX P1-650X-CAH9 because it's in a majorly cheap bundle with my graphics card.

i know this psu will do the job at 650 watts, but i'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
William

For the prices I've seen that PSU at lately, it's hard to find a better deal.

Yeah that XFX PSU will be more than enough for your planned setup.
