Sorry, newbie here. I thinking about upgrading the PSU in my hp m9000t from the OEM 350 watt to the Antec 500w.

My only question is, is it ok for the two +12v rails in the Antec to be one amp less than the 350watt in my hp (Antec 17A on both, OEM 18A on both) and one less amp(Antec 9A, OEM 10A) on the input? All of the other ones exceed the OEM PSU.

Computer Specs (if needed):
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz
320 GB 7,200 rpm hd
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb
4 GB 667 DDRS SDRAM
1 CD/DVD R/RW Drive
Intregrated Sound Card

Thanks in advance!

P.S., If there is anything else I should be concerned with please let me know. :D

Yes it's ok. As long as the PSU has more power available on the +12V rail, the amount of amperage on each individual +12V rail doesn't matter too much for the average user. In reality, more than likely the EA500 has more power available on the +12V rail than the HP 350W PSU you have. So buy it. :)
