i just tried to run my 6800nu on 2 different computers to see how different the scores would be. i expected the rig in my sig to be the better of the 2 but that wasnt the case. the other computer was a

AMD Athlon 2500+
1GB Corsair Value ram(2x 512MB)
and the 6800nu at stock settings

the score for the 3200 was 1881 in 3dmark 05. the score for the 2500 was 3212 in 3dmark 05.

im curious if maybe the power supply has something to do with it. it has a display that says how much power is being used (never over 200w, usually bout 120w) so im fairly sure its not over powering the 450w PSU but could there be something else wrong with the psu?

odd, but it could have more to do with the programs running in the background more then nething. Make sure ur free of spyware and uneeded programs, also if you have a winnie those 4 sticks of ram might be hurting your processors efficiency. Try only 1gb of memory and see if your score jumps up a bit. If nor, your main rig is better neways lol.

well tried your suggestion about the ram and came up with 1865. so i assume thats not the problem.

seems i may have figured it out. i took the 300w from the 2500 system and used it in my main rig and the score was 3278. not a hell of alot different than the 2500 score but its a start i guess. now to find a new powersupply that wont make my bank account cry.

I've changed CPU from 3000+ winie to 4200+ X2 in my SFF rig and now my grafic card will not OC that high as it used to. Well SFF PSU is kinda maxed out. BTW it's not only amount of watt's it's also are they clean and stable.
