PSU tester

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right thread to post....anyway im wondering if the Coolmax psu tester can be used where the current is 220-240volts, i think it should right as its testing the psu and not the power socket but just need to confirm....any EE's willing to comment?

Here's the link:

Thx in advance :)

the current is 220-240 volts? current is measured in amperes or amps.... when you hook up that PSU tester, your power supply isnt gonna be pumping out alot of wattage since there is nothing sucking up that power...

if you plug your psu into an outlet that it is capable of.... you should be ok... the tester will only detect the regular values the psu is putting out.... thing of it like the power supply is running idle....

Thx for the answers, anyway i was referring to the voltage in different countries,(noob when it comes to electricity) as im in Asia...its 220-240, whereas in US and most of Japan its 110-120volts....so just wanna make sure that my moneys well spent......thx again :)
