I am creating a new rig for BF2 and other bleeding edge games that make everything cry.

Here is my setup
Venice 3000+ or 3200 that will be OC to 2.4-2.7ghz
A8N-E or DFI Lan Party(The one everyone Loves)
Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT 1GB DDR400 XMS3200 Dual-Channel Memory
Geforce 6800GT or 2 6600GT's which will be SLI'ed
320gb SATA 8mb Western Digital HDD
Plextor SATA DL DVD Burner
(3)92MM Fans
(3)80MM Fans
(2)120MM Fans
(4)Dual Cold Cathode lights and some Misc lights "I think they are pretty"

The Powersupply I like is this one
Enermax EG565P-VE FMA 535W Power Supply

its in my price range and although my current Enermax died it died after 4 years of solid performance.

So the question is will that Powersupply handle my rig?

Then get it.

That PSU can do 18A per 12V rail or 34A max combined. That thing could power a pair of 6800 Ultra's and a Prescott with a RAID 5 under worst case scenario. Why not? ;)

Like I always say... Everyone has their own personal pick. ;)

sweet I see ur about to review the antec neopower :) It should be comparable to my antec 480w truepower-2 which has 2-3 more amps on the 12v but anyways..you got an ETA on when it will be done? not that I am trying to tell you to hurry or anything hehe :)

i wouldnt get that ram with that dfi board. that corsair has been problematic to get working right. also that plextor drive isent working so well with dfi board either i would get the ide version its what i have and there is no performance difference. if going sli i would get ocz power stream 600 watts. new nvidia cards are power hungry.

Sounds like a good reason to consider the Asus A8N-E. ;)
