I added another GTX 280 to my rig and after I did so my PSU screeches when I play STALKER, It only really does it when they are medium load, if I start furmark or Crysis it doesn't do it at all.

So pretty much if the VRMs are giving each GPU ~40-50 Amps then it squeals BUT
if I fire up furmark and each VRM is giving ~70-80 Amps then it doesn't squeal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the PSU, and make sure it is in fact that PSU that is screeches. Just go through a checklist:

1. The PSU fan
2. The GPU fan
3. Any other fan you attached to the case.

Make sure all your components are connected properly.

I have an OCZ powerstream 520 that also squeals.

On my PSU it has nothing to do with any fans...

I would say it's a leaky capacitor, except the PSU has been like this for a very long time, and capacitors generally only make that noise for a short period of time.

Thus I'd say it's a poorly insulated inductor coil just vibrating somewhere in the PSU. The sound actually continues after the computer is switched off, and becomes LOUDER (not just relative to the now gone ambient noise of the computer, but measurably LOUDER). I have to switch the PSU off to remedy this.

That makes some sense...now that I think about it

I'll be getting a PC P&C 750 now :)
