So my friends PC I built for him, the Power supply shot out some sparks and everything pretty much died. He replaced the PSU and CPU and it still was crap. THen replaced the mobo, ram, and HD and it now boots up but locks up in windows whenever he tries to do something. It says his video card drivers is responsible for the instability. So does that mean the video card is trashed too? I think it is, but he is tired of buying new crap. Im not sure what kind of powersuppy it was, it came with the case and the computer is about 2 years old now. I just find it weird how is whole PC got fried. I have had PSUs gone bad before and they did not do any damage to the computer. Anyone eles have experiences like this?

well if the CPU, mobo, RAM, etc all died it's not the much of a stretch that the video card is dead too.
