I am no programmer but I know enough to say this probably would be a huge project...
I wish there was a piece of software that could examine your system and report back approximately how much of a power drain your system would make under absolute full load.
With dual cores, dual GPU's, hard drives in RAID, etc it is very hard to make a judgement on whether or not your PSU is able to do the job reliably.
Perhaps something integrated into a program like SiSoft Sandra?
Has anyone ever heard of such a project?
