PSU smell?

Hello,

Ive been running my pc for the last few months with zero problems, I stressed for hours with orthos, 3dmark and memtest and have had no stability issues...

however, I never really noticed but yesterday i was cleaning behind my pc and I put my nose near the PSU and It smelled like hot electronics, or like some of those hot glue guns... it wasnt bad and it didnt smell like burning but I really never noticed that before...and I can only smell it if I get really close and smell the air coming out of the PSU. I wonder if its something I should be concerned about?

im running an AB9 mobo
q6600
2gb gskill ram
8800gt
thermaltake purepower 2.0 600watt
3 hard drives and one disk drive

I wouldn't be worried about it but I would keep an eye on it from time to time. If you start smelling burning, then you better start worrying.
 
Is the PSU running very hot (judging by the exhaust temperature), and/or is the fan/vents full of dust? It shouldn't be being unduly stressed by your hardware, if it's up to providing the wattage it says.
 
well the air is warm, not that hot... I think theres good ventilation on it.
