Hey guys got a 2 parted question for you

Basic specs:

Asus A8n
AMD 3500+
1 gig Corsair Ram
7600GS
Raptor, 2 SATA and 1 IDE HDD
DVD-RW

1 Is a Thermaltake Pure Power a safe PSU? Ive had one in my desktop for over a year now and it runs fine (darn the loud fans!!) After reading recommended PSUs and other peoples horror stories Im now a bit worried. So should i replace my Thermaltake PSU?

2 Hows the support for Fortron or Antec? I perused the Xclio website and all they have is an email for tech support thats all. Antec seems to have a good reputation but $ is tight right now.

Which Purepower is it exactly? The fact that you say it is really loud, suggests it is one of the many models with only 18A on the +12V. A replacement may be in order.

18A on the +12V.

It's not a bad PSU, per se, but upgrading to a better PSU will give you more juice where it counts, and more importantly, significantly lower the noise output that these "silent" Thermaltakes are known for.

(1) Safe = probably, only if upgrading the PC or for less noise.

(2) Antec has a rep that visits our forum, they have a very good reputation.
Fortron also has a very good reputation.
