Well i was going to just go ahead and purchase a new power supply but i have some recomendation questions. Should I just go ahead and purchase a 500 wat modular power supply or would it be a good idea to buy 2 other seperate parts. 1 being a regular PSU and then the 2nd part being one of those new PCIex drive bay power supplies? I figure if i go this way i would have the best of both worlds. 500 wat for my parts and an extra 250 bay for my pci-ex cards.

This would be for a regular setup-

Enermax PSU-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817194003

This would be for the dual setup and basically works out to the same amount of money-

Thermaltake PSU-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153028

PSU Drive Bay for PCIex cards-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153037

If anyone has any other good recomendations that would be great..if anyone knows of good PSU that are modular that would be good too. Thanks.

Well, what are you trying to power exactly? That Enermax 500W you linked to will power a pretty high-end SLI setup without the need for some auxiliary 5.25" bay PSU.

Well Im Trying to Power for right now:
RAIDMAX Scoprio 668WBP Gaming Case with 6 Fans
Asus A8N Sli Deluxe
AMD 3200+ Venice Core Stock
EVGA 7900 GS oced 576/784
HITACHI Deskstar T7K250 SATA-II 250GB, Maxtor IDE 40GB
1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR400

And eventually what should be going in there soon is:
A Dual Core Processor
Another 1GB stick of Crucial Ballistix
Another 7900 GS For SLI
Maybe a small raid of 2 or 3 Sata 2 Drives.

So basically looking for alot of power right now that will do me good for all of these future upgrades.

I would put the money into one good psu for now, and then you can add the 5.25" bay thing later on if need be.

if you got the enermax now it would be able to handle ur future system too. no reason to make things more complicated by getting two power supplies for a pretty light system on power consumption.

Well so far I have been looking at Enermax Libertys 500 and 600 Watt. i hear those are good for my sytem but how about an X2 500 watt Ultra Power Supply? Also Im REALLY interested in getting a good modular PSU. If anyone knows of good Modular PSU without going over 120 that would really be great as well. So far the X2 seems to be the chepest Modular I could find.

The Corsair 620W would be my #1 pick. ;)

Well i went and purchased a 500 watt Thermaltake PSU just for testing purposes and it basically proved to me that my old PSU is just shot! Well im basically looking right now for a good deal on newegg or anywhere else that way I can return this thing back to Radioshack..lol

Well Im really under a budget and cant spend more than $120 so the OCZ would unfortunately have to wait for right now. Im still looking for something thats SLI certified and possibly modular but doesnt have to be. Also looking for the 500-600 watt range hopeing that this will cover me for my future upgrades. So far Im really considering the X2 Connect 550W and also the Hiper HPU but suggestions are still welcome.

Will the Corsair 520HX have enough power for all of my future upgrades listed above? \

And also i have found a few more picks anyone have a fav out of this list?

Also is the Enhance PSU based off the silverstone ST60F...will that be good enough and have enough power on the rails for my upgrades?

Both the Corsair 620W & OCZ GXS 600W/700W have more than enough for your upgrades, uber SLI/Crossfire.

Forget the others.

Demon 580 PSU :p
The Corsair 520W will be fine for this. ;)

Well for the price and Power it looks like I cant beat the Enhance ENS-0560G 600W for $99+shipping which brings it to $113 shipped to my house. Going to put in the order tmw when i wake up. Thanks for the help guys.
