Hi,

I'm looking for a low wattage psu with small form factor. It's to power a bunch of hard drives maybe up to 10 of them give or take. Hard drives only require a couple watts each so I'm not worried about output. I am going to do the paper clip trick to power it on. I'd prefer fanless.

Suggestions?

Actually depending on the hard drive, hard drives can use up to 25W at startup so you should factor that in unless you have a controller that supports staggered startup.

What do you mean by "small form factor"? Do you want the PSU to be mATX, TFX, SFX, 1U, etc? Also what's your price range?

Oh... I did not know that. Mostly I'm running Samsung 750's and 1TBs. I might have a WD 750 or two. There's no controller. The hdds are plugged directly into my motherboard or though a sata-usb converter. When I need them on, I just flip the psu on and turn it off when done. How many watts am I looking at. Price is cheap~
