So i've got an interesting requirement for a PSU. I think i've found one that will work, but would like some input.
The details:
Power ATX12V / 4-pin auxiliary power connector / Universal 24-pin + 8-pin + 8-pin power connectors
The Board i'm using
TYAN S8812 (S8812WGM3NR)

PSU I think will work
Newegg Link

I buess 8pin + 8pin can use the PCIe connector

Further investigation i've figured out that EPS is the 8 pin connector on the board.

It also seems that the PSU i selected does have two EPS connectors.

I really like the reviews of the Antec HCP-850, so i'll go with that one unless i've mis-understood the connector.

While that PSU does have the right connectors it's bloody expensive and has awful reviews.

You best bet is probablly to get a decent PSU (e.g. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371026) and then mod the wiring to create a second EPS connector. You can get the bits you need to mod the wiring from frozencpu. The mod should be pretty easy to reverse in the unlikely event you need to make a warranty claim.

P.S. Be aware that if you are planning to use all the CPU sockets and planning to run windows you will need a server version of windows.

Some PSU's (like my Seasonic M12D) comes with a 8-pin and a 4-pin CPU connector. Then all you have to do is get a 4 to 8 pin adapter and you're set.

Thanks for the input!

I'll just pay a little extra for the plugs. This will be going into a production environment, and while i've done plenty of mods the customer who's getting this system wont care if i add an extra $100 on a $5k system :)
