PSU Recommendation for i5 system

Hey everyone, I am currently upgrading my i5 rig with a new ati 6570 card. My previous power supply, a 500 watt I believe will not provide the power for consumption anymore.

Currently the system specs:
*MSI GD85 Mobo
*Intel Core i5-750 Quad Core
* 8 Gigs of DDR2
*Two 7200RPM Sata Drives
*Corsair Hydro Series H50 kit
*Radeon HD 6970

I do use the PC for gaming, as well as Web Design and other stuff. I used Antec's power calculator, and basically the combo looks to be around watts.

What would be your suggestion on wattage and PSU for this setup? It has been a while since I last bought a PSU, and I now see the modular designs out there. I am moving the system into a new case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042 if that matters at all (which I doubt).

A good 500W could power that rig, but it all depends on what 500W you already have. What brand/model is your current PSU?
 
That particular Rosewill isn't really something I'd use, so as you're doing a new build you should pick up something else. The Antec is fine, $70 after MIR is a good price.
 
I'm a pretty big Corsair fanboy so that's what I usually recommend. The TX650 would be worth a look. Good quality build and more than enough juice which gives plenty of headroom for future upgrades.
 
Is the Earthwatts different specs then regular supplies, so it is lesser quality? Taking a look at the other unit linked, its less a wattage model.

The TX650 looks pretty nice too, and I am comfortable with Corsair as well.
 
I don't understand what you mean by different specs from regular PSUs. It's a good PSU, but it's just not quite as good as some other options that are out there. However, it's still a good choice. After thinking about it, I'd actually say you should choose between that or the Truepower New 650W.
 
I was asking because originally it sounded like the one I choose maybe was not as efficient as the other PSUs listed. I went with the Antec I picked earlier, the price was pretty good - should give the power that will be needed.
