Hi i have the new speedfan utility and am checking the voltages on my new Antec Neopower psu. Question. Do i add up the +12v and the -12v to get the correct reading? Cause if not....then i am getting like 11.15 on a 12v rail. Sorry if this is a stupid quesiton. I am a n00b at this.

Thanks

dunt worry bout being a n00b - everyone here has been one once. No, those are separate lines and should not be added together. Software utilities are not quite "exact" so try more than one (not at the same time as they can interfere with each other) try the monitoring software that came with your motherboard (usually on the cd that came with the board or at the manufacturer's website. Example: Winbond Hardware Doctor.) Or download Motherboard monitor (also known as MBM) or "google" motherboard monitoring software and try a few. Now if you have a couple showing that the power supply is throwing that number, I would be a little concerned as that is a bit low. Use a stress test like Sisoft Sandra (I believe it has a monitor program built in too.) and see if the +12v line goes lower/higher. If this persists contact Antec via their website and ask them what to do. Also look at their website for a Frequently Asked Questions section (FAQ) as your answer may be there. Double chekc to make sure the psu is properly/firmly connected and see if the number changes. Good Luck
