If you where to "over-guessimate" on how much Wattage need, what would you put it at? What's a good PSU in this range. Needs to be a solid stable PSU. If you can find a dual-redudant PSU you get bonus points :)

If no one else is going to chime in, maybe a quality 400 or 450w would do you int he long run?

Is this going to be a server or workstation, because I know very little if that about redundent power supplys.

If this is a workstation, a couple inexpensive, but not lacking one bit in quality manufacters are Sparkle, Forton Source, and Top-Power off the top of my head.

I am listing those because they generally along with being inexpensive are generally "bling free", and since you have a dual proc system it dosent seem to me that you would be the type to mod your case and have lights all over.

Here I believe is a good rated unit that would work: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104954

and..Antec, Seasonic, PCP&C (if you can afford is great), enermax, OCZ..(list goes on)are good quality if you happen to see one grab it just make sure your getting around 400w for saftey, and plenty of amps of the 5 and 12 rails. Check the stickys at top of this sub forum for explinations of rails if you dont know.

Post back! Good luck, seeya..Dave.

Yea, it'll have one CDROM drive but will not be in heavy use.

You think 450 is enough to drive this thing? I'm not good at firguring up power, but that seems a bit low.

Tyan Dual AMD MP board.

has onboard nic... no sound card, no raid, no sata (ide only), no onboard video (going to use cheap PCI/AGP card).... no on-board raid.
