Hi,

Can the Corsair CX400 handle a Athlon II X3 440, 5770 & 2HDs?

Will be overclocking.

Thanks.

Hi,

How about the Silverstone SST-ST50F-ES? I found it similarly priced to the CX400 here in the Philippines and offers 4Amps more on the 12V rail. Is it the same quality as the corsair? Any major difference between the 2?

If youve already bought that PSU then I agree with everybody else that youll be fine. However, why not spend an extra $30 and get the 550 watt version?

While 400 will be enough for your current build, you may get bit by the bug and wanna go crazy with a Phenom II overclocked to the max, or go crossfire or something else like that. 550 would give you plenty of breathing room for any upgrades youd want to do later on down the road.

Haven't bought it yet... Still juggling the budget

Any thoughts on the Silverstone?

That Silverstone is manufactured by Sirfa. Their PSUs usually aren't great, and I recommend against it unless there are no better options.

Then I'll probably be getting the Corsair CX400 or VX450. VX550 is a little out of my budget
