Lately when i shut off my PC it just restarts itself everytime. I'm gonna try and switch out a PSU and see if it's that, but i borrowed one off a guy and its marked for Pentiums, (standard atx switching power supply), will it work by chance with my AMD based setup?

Ive got an ahtlon xp 2400 running on an ASUS a7n8x deluxe with a 350w PSU currently. The psu I borrowed is umm... 300w I think made by RTI .

never noticed there was a dedicated powersupply sub-forum, sorry mods :)

to be more specific, the new psu i got is model WIN -300PE, here's what the label says

RTI
