Hello all,

I have an Antec NEO HE 500 Watt power supply. I am curious if it is capable of supporting a new graphics card.. currently I have a X1950 Pro, which I am thinking of replacing with a 4870 1gb or a 260-216 . It has the two 6pin connectors necessary, but I am not sure if it can provide enough power.

The rest of my system is a Core 2 Duo E6750, 4gigs ddr6400, a couple hard drives, dvd burner.

If I do need to replace it, any recommendations on a power supply that will be able to handle both a future I7 build and a next gen gpu? T

Thanks for the advice!

Your Antec NEO HE 550 will have no problems running a HD 4870 video card. You PSU puts out 42A on the +12V.
