I am having a hard time picking a power supply, just need some input.
What is the best choice on the list?

I will be running
- QX6700 (QUAD Core)
- 2 X 8800 GTX
- 4GB RAM
- 3-4 Hard Drives
- Water Cooling setup (pump, multiswitch, Monitoring devices)

850 all the way. Gives you some wiggle room for a few more items should you choose, but not as expensive as 1kw.

Thanks for all your feedback. I don't care about the price as much as i do about getting the best one. I am only looking for whats on my list.

All I have to say is make sure you effing PM me when you're ready to sell THAT monster! You seen the pics of your old stuff?

Some pics are at bottom here, and I sent you an email a bit ago with a link to the album.

Good luck, man!

Here's an idea, why don't you be a guinea pig and get the New Koolance 1200W Liquid-Cooled Power Supply!! and let us know how it does?

(Edit removed because I made an incorrect assertion about fan size.)

Silverstone ST85ZF has an 80mm fan, also, not a 120mm.

Crap, I was looking at the strider 850. Wait a minute, you're considering the strider 750W modular, but not the strider 850W modular? What gives? I vote for the strider 850W. It should be plenty powerful enough and it's got a nice 135mm fan. Modular cables might be a plus.

Geeze, I just might go and buy that PSU myself.

Yeah, i agree with Nicepants42. Plus the Strider 850w has 2 native 8-pin PCI-e connectors, as well as the 4 x 6-pin PCI-e.

Will that be enough to power all of that? I'd say, if you get something made by Seasonic, get the 700w M12. Anything lower and you'll be pushing it, especially with future upgrades.
I can only hope he was joking.

Here's a Review of the ST85F.
Here's a comparison between the PCP&C 1KW and SS Olympia.
Here's a Review of the ST75F.
Here's a Review of the Zeus 850.

Looks like the Strider 850 might not be as quiet as I'd hoped, and maybe the Olympia might not be as loud as I'd feared (under realistic loads).

I still lean toward the ST85F, but I suggest you PM JonnyGURU and put his PSU-godliness to work for you.

hasnt the corsair 620hx run 8800gtx in SLi? maybe it was just dual gts.

I would consider the 850 but I would have to get it shipped, I rather pick one up form the store that we have stock on.

I really like those reviews, I think it sums everything up. I also noticed I could not find any good review of the BFG. I guess that explains things.

I want to say thanks for everyones input on this and all comments/reviews posted.
I just picked up the Lian-Li G70 Case with the SilverStone Zeus ST85ZF 850W Power Supply w/ Quad +12V, EPS 12V. I am still waiting on my Aqua Computer stuff to come in but once its in I will start posting some pictures.

How's the cabling on the Zues? I heard that Silverstone now sleeve every cable, 'care to ratify?

I wouldnt choose any of the ones on the list above, but of the four you have given as potentials,I choose the 850 Zues.
