PSU mounting in HAF question

Can you mount PSU in HAF in a way that the fan faces upwards ( away from the floor ) and pulls air from inside the case, rather than from under the case ?

I tried to mount it this way, but the screw holes didn't line up, so I had to mount it with its fan towards the floor .
 
Why would you want to do that? It has vents on the bottom specifically for the PSU to pull in cooler air.
 
The case only has PSU mounting holes for that orientation, so you'd have to either mount it at the top of the case, or drill out reversed mounting holes at the bottom so you can install it upside-down.
 
On the desk -- on a stand -- etc. Anything but the floor. The floor is the absolute worst place for an air cooled computer -- even if you are a few inches off the floor it's much better than right on the ground.
 
why is that, since cold air is heavy, its at the bottom of the room
 
Any temperature differential in the room will be negated by the constant battling of dust bunnies. If you have a ceiling fan, or a regular fan in the room, there will be even less differential.
