hey, huge problem. just finished this build a few days ago, Silverstone ST75F power supply. I went to sleep, woke up, the computer was off. I tried to turn it back on, unplugged the PSU, power button, etc, nothing worked. Then the power supply made a loud pop noise with a giant spark. I pulled it out and its dripping a whitish liquid. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

sounds like one of the caps blew up :(

Agreed. I would return it if I would get a replacement if I were you. Btw, did you have good airflow in the case?

yeah the airflow is fine, its all in a silverstone tj09 case. ive never seen anything like this before.

It does sound like a capacitor, but I've never heard of the electrolyte being white... Maybe I'm just dumb.

i hate to say it but it actually looked like semen. maybe someone at the silverstone factory had a little too much fun with my psu. :(

It could have been the caulk that holds some components still on the PCB melting as well.
