will the corsair 620hx or the 520hx fit the lian-li v1000 bay? if i placed this in the wrong forum, let me know.

If you do decide on a longer form factor PSU, it will still fit in the Lian-Li. You might lose a hard drive rack in the bottom though. Everything is removable in the bottom, so you wouldn't have to worry about it.

I have the Corsair 520HX in my PC-V1100BPlus II which as far as the hard drive and PS compartments is identical to the 1000. It fits fine, the modular cables are a tight squeeze so make sure you pull it back a bit to make any changes. The 620HX is supposed to fit fine as well.

As mentioned if you wanted a bigger PSU in there, the back hard drive cage is removable.
