Sorry if this is another generic thread but I need help. I have a 300 watt power supply in my current gaming rig. (combo deal with some other parts from newegg) I am planning on putting a 6600gt pci express into the system and I am not sure if it will be enough. I used a wattage calculator but it did not have an option for pci-express graphics cards, only agp.
My system specs are:
amd 64 3200+
1.5 gig ddr sdram ram
sound blaster live
MSI Socket 939 ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 ATX AMD Motherboard
keyboard and mouse are usb
wireless network pci card
DVDRW/CDRW drive
CDRW drive

I am a big newb on psu so some help would be nice.
A nice link or something would be nice. I read the forums stickies and they helped a little..

Also here are some specs from the label on the psu.

+3.3v/27A
+5v/26A
+12v/18A
This is a 300 watt power supply.

if it were a dual 12c rail psu, then I'd say you'd be ok, but in that case, I'd say get another one.
