I've done alot of searching this morning through this PSU forum...I have decided to get either this one from newegg

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProdu...-104-968&depa=0 (fortron 530w)

But I'm worried that the mobo connector is the 24pin? Do I need an adapter?

Also, I don't really want to wait until next week for it...I can get this Enermax Noisetaker 420w locally for $80 http://www.pcclub.com/product_detail.cfm?itemno=A6250959 (a bit more than it's worth, but I could have it today). Should it be adequate for the specs in my sig?

Damn, I wish there was a better computer store here locally :(

Both of those power supplies have 20-pin ATX connectors. As to which is better, it's a matter of opinion at some point. The fotron is definitly the more powerful overall, but the added stability of the split +12v rail design of the Enermax is a big plus.

Cool...that's all I needed to make up my mind...I'm going to get the Enermax 420w locally, thnaks for the help :)

Hay, I was just checking out this 450 watt TTGI tt-450ss Super Flower PSU I'm using at the moment...it says the +12v is max 27A...could this be a decent PSU?

I would still get a Fortron/Sparkle, but my experience with one TTGI unit is very good. Running a 420 watt on an Athlon XP system; CPU, video card, and RAM all overclocked, one hard drive, two optical drives, and 4 LED fans. All the rails are solid. Can't remember the exact numbers now, but the deviation was less than 3%.

Yeah...I remembered the TTGI didn't belong to me anyway (oops )

I just ordered the 530w Fortron from newegg :D
