I run a P4 3.0c on a Gigabyte 8GXNP Ultra Rev2 board with Corsair XMS PC4000.
I recently bought a Thermaltake 480W Silent PSU and i plugged it in. The power turns on for a split second and the light flickers and nothing is turned on.
I tried an Antec 350W PSU and my machine turns on. I put the thermaltake onto an AMD machine, and it boots up.
But when i insert it back to my machcine, nothing happens. I even tried to take out the connectors and use a screw driver between the 2 pins, and nothing happens.

what should i do? :(
 
Sounds like a short to me; Try pulling the computer out of your case and see if it still does that
