im looking to get another Power supply want to get 8800 soon , and need something that will handle that , 2gb of ram , 2 HD 500gb, 2 dvd drives , sound card and my and OC e6300 any power supply that you would recommend in the $100-120 range??

was looking at

Thermaltake Purepower 550W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153051
Forton Blue Storm II 500W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817104034
Enermax Liberty 500W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194003

which would be better or any suggestion?

Olympia 650 > Corsair 520.

Of course, the OP650 is overkill. The 520 is fine if you only plan on one 8800 card.

Corsair HX series or the Seasonic S12 series.

deadeyedata a good online store? never heard of them. but that OP650 doesnt seem that much more even at $128

entire 54A on a Single 12v rail , any difference on having it all on single vs several (like antec trio) 19A X 3 12v rails

will probably have enough power for anything i could throw at it and huge step from my true power 380. I don't mind if its over kill as long as it doesn't let me down and breaks heh

Deadeyedata is a reputable store. Have a look on Jonnyguru.com.

The difference should theoretically be that multiple 12v rails provide cleaner power, but in reality, since there's only a single 12v source, it's not a big improvement. Add to that, if you overload one rail but have no load on the other(s), it won't work properly. I suggest sticking to single railed psu's.

It won't let you down.
