I'm going to buy new rig later this summer and want to get Q6600, 4GB DDR2 800MHz Geil maybe, some nice Gigabyte DQ6 mobo and something like 8800GTS. Currently I posses Chieftec GPS-550W AB-A psu http://www.chieftec.com/products/psu/atx_psu.htm
Chieftec GPS-550W AB-A spec:
AC input: 115V~230V
+5V: 26A; +3.3V: 28A; +12V1: 18A; +12V2: 18A; +12V3: 18A; -12V: 0.5A; +5Vsb: 2A
PFC: Active; Version: 2.0; Fan: 1x12cm
Power: max outpu: 550W; +5V & +3.3V = 180W; +12V1 & +12V2 & +12V3 = 360W; -12V=6W; +5Vsb=10W
I would certainly OC my system. Some say that Q6600 can be driven at 3.2GHz for every day, some ram oc, some gpu oc... What do you think, can I keep this Chieftec or I must go for better one? Any recommendations would be nice, thanks in advance.

Nobody has an answer? Should I get new PSU or this one can do the job?

I don't think that will do it, minimum for that system would probably be 650+ watts. I HIGHLY recommend the thermaltake toughpower series, I've got 750 watts and it works great for me, you may need something a little better though, maybe their 800watt or 850watt version. Definitely don't want to skimp on the PSU, plus those PSU's have lots of amps on their rails (mine has 60 combined), so not only do you need to look at watts but more so on how many amps the PSU's have.

Edit: I used a power supply calculator on mine and it said 690 somethin watts so you'll definitely need a nice PSU for those power hungry parts. http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp

PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750. Or, there's a OCZ GameXStream 700 watt at Newegg right now for $114 after rebate.

You're going to need a really nice case and cooling setup in order to run a quad and all that other stuff OC'd. Quads look to run a good bit hotter than their C2D brethren.
