I know you guys hear this all the time but Im having trouble finding a psu for my new setup im building:

core 2 duo 6600
evga 680i mobo
corsair 2gb
8800gts/gtx single but maybe later on down the road get another one and go SLi.

So far i've been looking at this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817256009 i like the fact that its modular but i no clue if its any good or stable.

Anyone have any psu they would recommend?

Go with the Corsair...the reviews have been amazing on it and it is right now one of the best power supplies on the market.

The 520 could hold that rig easily and the 620 would be good for future proofing as said. Both are cheaper and better than the one you originally posted although that would most likely work as well.

I''d go for the 620HX. I have one in my newegg shopping cart(among other things), awaiting my tax returns. I have heard nothing but the best about it.

but only 620? and it can handle 8800gtx in SLi ok? Also from what i see in the pics it only has 2 pci-e wires? what would i do if i have two 8800gtx?

I'm in the same boat as you Carbon_Le. I'm finding it difficult to find a power supply with 4 6-pin PCI-e wires. That SilverStone PSU looks like it will fit the bill. I would get that but i can't find it anywhere in the UK.

It should work fine. Redbeard tested it with 2 8800gtx's.

You might be able to get adapters or two more PCI-e adapters direct from Corsair?

I been reading other threads and they said u have to use the molex->pci-e adapters...so I guess I'm go with the silverstone 750w psu b.c of the price and the fact that it has 4 pci-e connectors.
