PSU for my new rig

I have two options in mind for the chassis and PSU for the computer I'm planning to build:

1) Antec Sonata II</a> (with built-in 450w PSU)

Cost: $82.69

2) COOLER MASTER Centurion 534

with the ENERMAX Noisetaker 485W

Cost: $130.99

For reasons other than aesthetic appeal, why would anyone want option two instead of option one?

Because that enermax > the antec. I'd go with the coolermaster case, and a Masscool / sytrin Nextherm 460w instead.

without knowing what hardware you have no one can give you an answer- i had a asus 550 ps and it would not handle my 2 7800gtx sli video cards. i only used 1, don,t get a ps from case makers if you r going to build a gaming machine. they sometimes use cheap over rated ps. one of the best ps is the pc power and turbo cool units- get a 510watt sli model and you will be happy.

What do you mean by "enermax > the antec"? Does it last longer? What actually makes it better?
It's a fact that Antec uses crappy capacitors in many of their PSUs. Not sure about what kind Enermax uses, though.

Is it the "cheap" caps or the lack of proper cooling that causes the caps to prematurely buldge?
