Wasn't quite sure how big to go with this. I was thinking a quality 650w would do it, but I wanted to make sure. It will probably be doing some DC project when its not encoding, with a vm or 3 thrown in from time to time, so the cpus will be fully loaded all the time.

2x Opteron 4122 C32 Quad Core
8x 2gb DDR3 ECC
10-12 2tb Green drives, 1 500gb drive
SAS card
 
I'd say even a quality 500W PSU would be enough for that, but a 650W unit would be a good choice for sure.
