I need an adequate PSU to oc an e6420, mobo and 88000gtx with the best bang for buck... any suggestions?

i dont want to spend a fortune on my psu. i just want something to get by... but i still want quality

it looks good but its quite expensive for a 620w psu. Can't i get any 650w psu?

No, it's a quality thing. A shitty $5 650w psu will not do what it says it will. It will have crap voltage regulation, ripple, etc. Don't risk it with a crappy psu. Spend the dough, and you won't regret it.

This isn't the year 2000, it's harder to get by on junk components.

Although I do miss the days of a $20 PSU pushing a top-end rig.

If you have to, opt for an 8800GTS and get the better power supply.

50% of all electronic problems are related to power......it's your gamble to make.

Silverstone S12 or the Corsair HX series.
