If i plan to run a dual gpu pci-e system, do i need to find one with two pci-e power connectors on it? Or are there some converters that you can use to convert a regular connector to power a pci-e slot. This is proving more difficult than I thought, as i want my new system to be a pci-e with dual gpu's, and then have the ability to add water cooling after it's all finished, and maybe even a light or something. Is that too much to ask for out of a psu?

nope, but add a large RAID array and youll be pushin your luck :p

the PCP&C Turbo Cool 510 SLi ships with dual PCI-E 6 pin video connectors as will the Enermax EG565 series supplies, many supplies would likely meet your needs some would have a single PCI-E 6 pin, and Id imagine converters would be pretty common, some cards likely would ship with them

Id recommend running the numbers for your palnned config and then youll know approximately where you stand, and we can talk a bit more

give me a link to the basic config and I'll help you with the rest
