Here are the specs:

Athlon 64 3200
MSI K8N Neo4-F Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Motherboard
1GB Corsair ValueRAM
eVGA 256-P2-N615-TX GeForce 7600GT 256MB
1 DVD Drive
1 HD
1 Case Fan

And the inevitable question: what PS would you recommend? This is for a budget system, and I'm not looking for something that will support future upgrades, just this system with stablity and reasonable quiet (if possible).

Considering the following:

XClio 450BL ($49)
XClio Goodpower 500W ($58)
Thermaltake TR2 Series 430W ($39)
FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX450-PN ($58)

Any thoughts on these PS or others in their price range that would be good alternatives?

Thanks in advance.

i use hipro when im on a budget they are same people that made OCZ powerstream psu's! very good company and ive had no problems the 5 that i have bought.. almost bought every model! 600watt one is 75$+ship so might be a bit to much but the 500w is 36$

Take either Fortron 400W, Seasonic S12 330W or 380W (best choice). Your system really isn't power hungry, 300W PSU would be just fine for it. I'd recommend either Seasonic 330W or 380W, but if those are too expensive for you take Fortron 400W, it will be just fine.
