I'm currently using the PSU that came free with my $35 case. I'm also using it with the computer in my sig.

That's why I need a new power supply, but I don't have any more than $50 to spend.

I found this one:

http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=PS-SP40TB2&c=pw

It's made by Sparkle, but I have no idea if it's good.
It says FSP400 in the model so I think it's made by Fortron.

Then there's also some other ones:

Thermaltake

Super Talent 450W

EPower:

http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=PS-ZU450W2

There were some others too, but those are basically what looked like the better ones.

Any recommendations?

That Sparkle is a great little power supply.

A 400W Fortron is usually a SAGA (AX400) when it's recommended here. I'd rather have the Sparkle.

Whoops, my bad.

Go with it if you want, but I suggest the Sparkle over it.

Isn't there an Ultra X-Finity 500W at RatShack for ~$30AR?
IINM, the X-Finity line is supposedly much more solid than Ultra's other "blew up in Kyle's face" line :D

of those three, EASILY the xClio. The Thermaltake is 18a on +12, the FSP Green is ???, and the xclio is dual rails at 15 and 17. MUCH better choice.

The FSP is 14 and 15 dual rails...

...But then again, it's an FSP.

Just get the SAGA 400w then.

I just looked at your specs, and even the saga is overkill for that rig :p

So I ended up ordering the Thermaltake one for $29.99 w/o rebates at ZipZoomFly.

I used a money order so it took forever. I got it today.

It looks really nice...

Pics coming soon.

Works pretty well too:

12V before: 11.60
12V now: 11.97!

The FSP400-60GLN has a combined max of 29A on the +12V rails.
