My spare computers psu died, it was a generic ( shame on me )
The last thing I could hear was the sound of the fans turning off and on, and then that noise your speakers make when you turn off your pc. It smells like burnt plastic in the office. I'm not sure what to do because i'm leaving to Japan in two months, and I need to part out every computer I own on ebay/craigslist.

1) Do I buy a new, better, quieter psu?
2) Do I get a decent one off craigslist to use for 2 months and then sell it to somebody else?
3) Are there any decent deals on a 500-550 psi

I'm using a X4 955, Crosshair IV Forumula, HD 4870
