So my OCZ Power Supply died a month ago and I'm finally RMA'ing it. I've since bought a new 620w modular power supply, but here's what I wrote to OCZ:

"Dear OCZ,

In November of 2005 I purchased a 520w power supply. Model Number: OCZ-520ADJ SLI. Well, I loved this power supply with all my heart....the blue led fan...sheathed power cords...the sexiness of the mirror finish. But one morning I awoke and began my morning ritual of powering on my computer. Low and behold, the computer did not power on. The green light on my ASUS motherboard was blinking off and green randomly, indicating a problem with my lovable power supply. I was distraught and tried plugging my computer into another outlet and other troubleshooting techniques to realize my efforts were futile. My OCZ power supply was dead. I then was laying my eyes upon my electronic toy in complete sadness. Without power, my fans could not spin up, I couldn't access my harddrives, and my additional blue led's didn't light up my life. Devastation ensued. Then I bought another power supply and my computer lit up with joy!
So I would like to RMA this part. Serial number I believe is: XXXXXXXXXXX if I am looking at it correctly. "

Nice email.

I'm guessing you'll be recieving a GameXstream 600 for the rma.

Yeah, I figured I'd write something funny so whoever read it would get a break from the norm. Besides, now they might hook me up for providing a laugh. haha!

I wrote a similar one about a week ago, still no response from OCZ. I had a similar problem, but no blinking lights. I had my computer on for over a week straight with no stability issues. I shut 'er down, and it wouldn't start back up. I tried different cables, checked for shorts, completely removed the PSU, shorted the Green to Ground, and nothing. It chirped (cap discharge) after about 3-4 minutes of being unplugged, but that's about it. Absolutely NOTHING from the power supply. It was the WEIRDEST "death" i have ever seen. I wish OCZ would shoot me an e-mail back. I borrowed an ULTRA PSU from my friend just to get my computer running. In the meantime, a Corsair HX620 is in the trunk of my gf's car, waiting to be installed tomorrow (or thursday).

Where's the famous re-vamped OCZ support when I need it?
