PSU connector 'tightness' ?

I got a new 700w superflower PSU, and I noticed that the SATA connectors on this this are really, really tight compared to my old corsair PSU.

It almost feels like it will strip the gold prongs off the connector if I hotswap the HDs too many times.

The corsair SATA connectors still required some force to put on, but not like this new PSU.

Anyone else ever seen anything like this before ?
