Hey, So I have been having a hell of a time trying to figure out what is wrong with my computer. I think it is my motherboard, but I think I am having more Vdroop then normal. So I am thinking my power supply might be going.. I have a Corsair AX850....

My problem has to do with DPC latency and such... I have tried all the normal fixes to no avail.

I don't know how vdroop would cause a DPC problem, maybe someone can enlighten me on that. I'd figure droop would cause typical instability like an overclock that needs more volts. I believe DPCs are software releated, like communication between an application and a driver. If your suspicion is set on the PSU then then try to test your rig with another one known to work and go from there.

My previous P35/Q9400 setup threw DPC spikes but ran fine. I did however have issues with finding good drivers for the chipset on that board (Realtek ethernet maybe?). Might be a good idea to take the DPC results with a grain of salt unless you're having other problems.
