System specs:
Gigabyte ga-945GCM-S2C, 2gig ddr 2 800, Celeron E1200 Dual Core: WD320 hd Samsung PATA dvd burner, Radeon HD4850, Athenatech Mp4ATC40 microatx psu (400watt) with 3 ea 60MM case fans, PCI slot cooler with 2 70mm fans.facing Video card. Winxp/Vista dual boot. when I run furmark I get power consumption of 270 watts at the wall on my killawatt power meter. I have an E4300 that I can exchange with the Celeron. I have read that it uses the same power 65 watts. I think it would do a letter better in games and converting videos to Divx. So far since I have had the Radeon no issues with games ,etc, but I have not heard a lot of good about Athena tech. The Psu is about 6 months old. Does anyone know of a better brand microatx sfx psu (not with the side fan that sticks out will not fit this case) at least 400-500 watt? Thank for your input!!
Rails 3.3v=16A 5v=21A 12v= 21A (only 1pci-e 6 pin connector)
