Hey-you're in luck...I just went through what your asking...Upgraded my comp from a 6800gt\FX55 to a new asus A8n5x pci-e mobo, and BFG 7900GTX.....The 1st time she booted up ok, but then I started getting error beep codes on boot, and My monitor would stay blank after cold booting, which means ram not getting enough power to boot system, so, I know my 420 watt enermax noisetaker was unable to handle the new hardware....

Went to my local compusa and picked up a Antec Neo 480 watter which is awesome...it's got modular sheathed connectors, a huge 120mm fan and active pfc, which basically means more efficient running current...Easy install and no more boot problems....It was a little over 100$, but IMO, worth every penny....Save a little or borrow, but I would get it...U might even be able to get it under 90$ online...gluck!

EDIT-BTW. If you're planning on getting or have that hardware already you listed, you would be crazy to skimp on something like a PSU...A psu should be the one piece of hardware that you go for broke on...Your equipment is only as good as the power it receives, and dirty or unstable power from cheap psu's=hardware death and instability...

I would bump my budget. The DFI Expert has the 8-pin EPS12V connection, and it would be in your best interest to find something reputable that had this connection to adequately power your overclocked CPU.

I'm sure there's a great PSU out there that would more than power my hardware for under $75. I looked at the "Recommended Power Supplies" sticky (under DFI board PSU's), and I saw a few from $66-$90. Maybe I misunderstood something, but it seems $75 is a great price range for my needs. What PSU would you guys recommend getting?

What about this one?

Enermax 535W: http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/eg565p-ve.html

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, haha! Could anyone link me to a suitable power supply though? I apologize for the early bump, but I'll be buying one in under an hour, so I really need some suggestions. Anything that will power my equipment, goes with the DFI expert, and is under $80 would be perfect. Thanks for reading!

Yeah, I was going to get the enermax 535w, but after someone brought a problem it had to light (apperantly it doesn't have a good 8-pin thingymajig connector), I'm wondering if I will choose the right PSU, since I obviously don't know what qualifies a PSU as "good".
Anyways, I'd love any suggestions, but I don't know what pcp&c is.

PC Power and Cooling is what pcp&p means.

The units that say EPS will have an 8 pin connector on them and you can't really go wrong with nay dave has listed there.

The Enermax 535 should be fine even without the EPS connector as you can either plug it directly in or use a converter.
