The PS3 is the last console I ever own, that's twice this happen guest we'll get more free games again. To bad I only have 70GB of free space then again who's complaining, especially when you don't purchase games for online like myself. I hate the online crap and that kinda killed the whole single-player campaign and with that you won't be getting $60 dollars for any game from me, more like $20 dollars or less.

Same thing applies for stream no more then $15 dollars that's if the DLC is included and if it ant no more then $10 dollars, why your only renting it Rent-To-Own-Digital RTOD is what I like to call it.

PhoneyVirus

They hit Blizzard, Xbox Live, and PSN again from what I heard. Blizzard seems to be recovering the fastest. They have a notice up talking about the outages due to DDoS, but it seems fine at the moment. Xbox Live still lists the "Social and Gaming" service as down. Meh. I have work in like 30 mins, so it doesn't bother me much (yet) haha.

Live is not and has not been down the issue listed has been there since Friday and has been Diablo 3 related.

"Xbox members, are you having trouble connecting to Party Chat, or running into server unavailability issues within Diablo III? We are currently working with our partner to get these issues fixed as quickly as possible. Thanks for being patient during this process. We’ll provide an update to you when we have more information."

And pan had planned maintenance yesterday which they probably didn't finish on time. It working now

sony should take some of the fault for this happening.

But the anger should really be directed at the 'hackers'.

This is why for years I've praised Microsoft with Live. At least with Live you get reliable service. They even got attacked and I didn't notice , it was down for some for 20-30 minutes. Sony it seems has gone the cheap ass route and doesn't spend enough time with IT security and/or spend enough on hardware to deal with an attack.

No one can survive a full on attack but you can recover from it faster with a better network infrastructure. Seems that $5 a month Sony charges goes towards all the free games they provide monthly..

Forget ISIS, send the NSA to take out these asshats -- D3 launched 2.1 today, keep it safe! :)

Twitch down at the moment, apparently the same people are claiming to be responsible for it.

I'll bet these kids are trying to be the ISIS of the internet

I find it a little pathetic that they would claim to be affiliated with ISIS. Not that I think any better of those that are actually under ISIS's payroll.
