While browsing through the menus in the UI such as Music Unlimited, games or whatever, The PS4 will for no apparent reason kick me back to the main UI screen. I could be looking at the Games menu then bam, I'm right back to the main UI screen. Very frustrating.
 
Have you tried resetting the console? Or at least logging out and back into PSN?

Need more details than a one time experience.
 
No. I dont wanrt to lose all the data I've already installed. I think it might be a controller issue because its as if I hit the Back button but I dont. It just for no reason goes back by itself whenever it wants.

Do you have a second controller to try on it? Maybe the back button is faulty.

I have experienced similar issues while access various menu items in the UI. It isn't very frequent, and doesn't happen repeatedly. It will likely be fixed in the next update.

That controller issue you are referring to is still fixable through software update Im sure.
 
This happens almost every time my friend tries launching things from the Library.
 
This has been happening to me as well. So far, hasn't been a showstopper, I suspect that there'll be a lot of changes and fixes in the next month or two.
 
I want to see a way to get rid of all that crap I am never going to use in the video section.

Also doing a full reset of the PS4 doesn't fix the problem, it is just something Sony need to fix in an update.

I honestly think that sounds like the controller might have a defect. I would really urge you to try another controller if you happen to have one.
 
Sounds like the thing other people have explained as some event happening (say PSN disconnecting) and the OS coming to front as a result of that, instead of say just showing an alert box. Certainly something they must fix.
