true, but what if you or someone you know was in the hospital or bed ridden (hopefully this never happens) and could only hang out virtually, then PSHome would be fun times right?

Lots of mesengers out there that don't cost 600$. Oh wait, you don't get pixels that represents a char on the screen. Guess you would have to send REAL LIFE photos or buy a webcam.

Or you could alway play WoW. lol

lol.. i meant if you already had a PS3 heh, plus webcams dont play games, or at least not video games and what not.. the whole PS Home is a more entertaining place to hang out under such circumstances, given all that you can do.

CURRENTLY, Home is also in a restricted Beta stage... it's still a ways off, and they might even get the "launch into a game of Motorstorm" thing in by the time it's launched.
Who knows?

Home is free... the PS3 is not.

I don't get why people crap on stuff as they do? Is it because they are in fear that something they really enjoy is at steak? If you don't like it, move on and do something else, or find something that does interest you. All of the threads in this forum that don't pertain to anything that interest me, I don't click on or post in... theres no reason for me to.

or could just be that some people just like to talk trash or piss off others ... :rolleyes:

can't be better summed up than WOW or most mmorpg's. oh rite there's a shitty game in there too. regardless, sony is smart for picking up on this aspect. people love this stuff

No one. But given Sony's track record of over-promising, over-hyping, and under-delivering, I'm not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Believe me, I want this to turn out as awesome as it could be, because I've been looking for excuses to buy a PS3 when it hits the $400 mark this year or next. However, I'm not going to be putting any stock in Sony's promises until they've been realized...
