PS3 Headset Help

[Michigan PC]

Is it possible to use a nice headset for both in game chat and game audio with a ps3?

how would I do so? What I mean is I want the game audio and ps3 chat through the headset.

can anyone contribute?

I don't want to annoy others in the house, but they don't mind talking...

So can I use a headset for in game chat and as my only audio source?
