My sister just got a PS3 and wants to know some good games to get. Here is a list of games that she likes. Could someone recommend some good games based on this list?

Prince of Persia
Pikmin
Tomb Raider
Ecco
Yoshi's Island
All Mario Games
Luigi's Mansion
Legend of Zelda
Jaws
Nintendogs

PS2 recommendations are great as well
I got her the 80GB because she plays a lot of PS2 games - she's replaying the Prince of Persia series in anticipation of the new one coming out in Nov
 
Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Loco Roco....possibly Rub a Dub (or whatever it's called lol)
 
Be sure to get Resistance: Fall of Man. If you get only one game, be sure its that one. It changed my life. Haze is also pretty sweet, as is WarHawk.
 
You can scarcely buy a PS3 without getting MGS4. Hell, I don't even like consoles and I like that game.

I played the Haze demo and I thought it was pretty bad to be honest. No, really bad in fact. Resistance was good also, I liked the weapons, but it wasn't amazing.

Try Ratchet and Clank: Future Tools of Destruction. I think it's brilliant with amazing graphics and really fun gameplay.

+1 for Ratchet and Clank.

The whole series is brilliant when it comes to a platform series. You have a lot of platformers listed, you need to give this series a chance.
 
considering it is the OP's sister's PS3 and based on the list of games she likes, some of these recommendations don't seem appropriate. it appears she would like mostly adventure/ platforming/ puzzle games. so on that note, why not get her god of war 2 :D
 
Good games: MGS 4, Uncharted, Heavenly sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance, Rachet and Clank, Assasin Creed.

Haze is a bad game imo.
 
it came with MGS4, but I don't think that's her type of game
I'm thinking of checking it out - I played MGS1 and loved it, but never played any of the sequels, I'm not sure if I'd this one though, since the cut scenes are so long and that usually annoys me

we rented Uncharted last night, I'll tell her about Heavenly sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Rachet and Clank, Assasin Creed, and God of War 2
