Why does the Netflix app on PS3 stuck so damn bad? Every day there is a 50% chance it won't work. I'll get some type of ui error and then when I go to details and test Netflix connection I get all green check marks but it won't play.

I never have any problems on 360 or xbone....

Anyone know why the app ducks so bad on ps3?

Mine works flawlessly. Did you make sure everything is updated? (PS3 and Netflix app)

That's odd, Netflix on my PS3 has always been much more reliable than on my Xbox 360.

I use wireless. Everything is updated. In fact I've uninstalled and reinstalled like 5 times.

I guess I'm just unlucky.

Only problem I notice is that I always seem to get signed out of PSN and often times after that the connection drops.

Its the wireless on the ps3 its horrible try it wired if you can its much better

I wish I could, the console isn't close to the router and it's in an area I don't want cables ran to, so I'll just have to deal with it...

Your other option is a good access point plug that into the nic on the ps3 I've done that as well either is better option than ps3s own wireless.

Try a powerline adapter, I have a couple of them and I think work way better then wireless.

Microcenter has a powerline starter kit on sale this week if you have one near you

Test your connection and make sure the NAT type is Type 2. If it's not you need to either enable UPnP on your router or manually forward the ports required by PSN and Netflix. The wireless adapter in the PS3 will also tend to drop your connection more often is the signal strength is 60% or lower.

What version PS3 do you have? I have had a pretty good wireless experience with the super slim, while my experience with the 60GB fat version was pretty poor.

Superslims wireless is definitely the best of the three. But I would still either powering ,access point or hardwire.

The port thing is possible especially with most Linksys routers.

Old but useful

The PS3 Netflix app actually was able to stream SuperHD during the whole fight between them and Verizon for me. It took a bit longer to buffer but it always hit SuperHD when it was done and stayed that way. Can't say the same for the Wii U , PS4 , Xbox 360 and Xbox One..

Ps3 on Netflix is excellent. You may want to tinker with your network settings or as suggested buy a power line kit.

Another tick for flawless Netflix/PS3 experience here. Wired and wireless, always keep it updated.

yeah ps3 netflix is best on any console system. I still have it hooked up to my entertainment system over my PS4
