Normally I like to put news items like this in our daily “Gaming News” round-up but the new PS3 1.90 update has a lot of new features that console owners have really been waiting for so I figured it warranted its own news post.


Wallpapers. No more generic XMB background. Emoticons in messages. Games in the XMB can be sorted. Video options can be adjusted while watching a DVD/Blu-ray Disc. Eject a disc using the controller. No need to plug in the controller to update.

woaaaa...time to turn my ps3 on! LMAO
havent turned it on since i finished the darkness..
 
woot! wow sony is sneaky! Darn you sony! Oh well.. yea time for me to turn of my ps3 too. Ive known about the psp update.. tried to upgrade the firmware on sunday but it was on low batter*1hour left :rolleyes: * but didn't bother to find the charger for it :) timet to start looking.
 
Glad to see them continuously improving the console. The little things they fixed would drive me nuts, so I guess it's a good thing :)
 
woot time to dust off the ps3 and turn it back again for another update :D
