Im trying to get sound from the ps2 through my comp to my speakers. I got a rca to stereo mini jack plugged into the line in on the onboard sound (msi k8n neo2). Sound outout is through the high-sample rate line out on a chaintech av-710. But im not getting any sound from the ps2 =\. I've set recording to the onboard realtec and playback to the chaintech. When i use the windows sound recorder to capture it will play sounds from the ps2. How do i get it to play real time?
 
Why can't you use the Chaintech line-in? That'd be simpler and probably higher quality.
 
cant use the line in on the chaintech when its outputting to the high sample rate port.
