ps2 or usb?

Im currently using usb ports for my intelli 4.0 and logitech elite keyboard is ps2 any better? is there a difference? im mainly looking into it for gaming. plz fill me in on this. thanks so much for your help
 
From personal experiences, I have not noticed a difference between using a PS/2 port or a USB port for my mouse. Though I'd say go USB if you have the ports. It's hotswappable.
